Who has access to my information?

In addition, we need to know the delivery contact name and address, billing contact name and address, and your company name if you are placing an order as a business. You may optionally provide fax, mobile number, website address and/or other contact information which might help us contact you immediately if there is a problem processing, fulfilling and/or delivering your order.

» If you choose to pay by credit or debit card, you will be asked to provide your card details including your name as it appears on the card, your 14-16 digit card number, and the card's expiration date via a secure form using 128-bit encryption and SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Certification, an access key based encryption standard. (We urge you to verify that your internet browser is up to date and is fully SSL compliant such as Microsoft internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator and/or Apple's Safari, to name a few, to provide optimum security of your information.) Your information is then processed securely from the web server directly to our own in-house network to hold and use for further processing via our order processing systems. Credit card refunds issued will only be refunded back to the card with which the order was processed. This refund is processed by Appalachian Evergreens, Inc. to ensure the correct card is credited.

» We may provide your telephone number to a courier should they need to contact you or the intended recipient regarding the delivery of your order.

» When you contact us using email addresses found on our web site and provide your name, email address, telephone number, and/or other contact information, this personal information is used only to answer your inquiry, or to contact you if such action is required to fulfill your inquiry.

» Cookies (if applicable) are used only to help make your shopping experience via our web site easier, more efficient and to store your shopping cart contents (products you wish to purchase) for checkout.

Only employees of the Data Controller (Appalachian Evergreens, Inc.) and Sunrox, LLC (http://www.sunrox.com) who handles the technical management and web development of our website would ever have access your information. Only the Data Controller will process your information for completion of your order. In accordance with established data protection legislation we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information you provide to us via our web site to prevent unauthorized access. Our procedures mean we may occasionally request proof of identity before disclosing information to you. We cannot however guarantee the security of any data you disclose to us online.
